Please make sure to plan in advance for your submission to ensure your timely departure. (Flight schedules, etc. do not fall under the reason for expedited visa screening process). Applicants are recommended to apply for their visa 1.5 – 2 months in advance during high seasons in summer and winter.


After you have selected the relevant checklist for your visa type, you can start gathering the supporting documents required for your visa type.


Once you have gathered all the necessary documentation, you can choose the method of submission that is most convenient for you.


!!!  Visa fees change semiannually (every 6 months) according to the exchange rate set by the government of the Republic of Korea.

Therefore, the new visa fees will be applied for applications received after December 24, 2021 at KVAC.

Currently, the KVAC offer different methods of submission for your visa application:


KVAC Berlin

1.       In-person from Monday to Friday between 10 AM to 11 AM (no appointment is necessary).

Kindly note that due to the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in France, in order to safeguard the safety of the visa applicants and the KVAC staff members, all appointments will be suspended. The visa application documents can be submitted only via post until further notice.



 The KVAC service fees are a standard fee of EUR 60 per person for residents in Germany and France.

The visa fees of the Republic of Korea (ROK) depend on your nationality, visa category and the number of entries.

The KVAC team will verify the correctness of your payment:

If you made your payment correctly, then you may not receive a payment confirmation email.

Therefore, 2-3 days after transferring all the necessary fees, you can either hand in your application in-person(only in Berlin)/by appointment (Paris)  OR  send it to KVAC by courier.

In case, there is a mistake or doubt regarding your payment amount, you may receive an email or call from KVAC for clarification.
